On the order form, you may choose to upgrade to our DDOS protected network if you are the victim of such attacks. We also offer our value network for those who are looking for an excellent cost to performance ratio and have high bandwidth requirements.
Network Information
Our network architecture is comprised of two fully redundant, completely separate networks. By separating customers' private networks from the internet, an added level of security, flexibility,and control is realized. GigeNET has invested in the best equipment available - Juniper M20 routers at the edge, Cisco 6500 series switches for distribution and aggregation, along with Cisco 3500 and 2900 series switches at the customer layer. By utilizing the most advanced routing and switching technologies, reliability and scalability are both maximized.
We currently have transit to several tier-1 providers including Level(3), Savvis, AboveNet, PCCW, and Cogent (for Cogent-bound routes or value network customers).
